The Balearic Islands are an autonomous community of Spain. As far as language is concerned the Balearics belong to the era of Catalonia. This archipelago located in the Mediterranean Sea known as five main islands, an a few islets, divided into two groups:

The islands called Gymésies: Majorca, Minorca, and the small island of Cabrera; The Pityuses Islands: Ibiza and Formentera. The climate remains pleasant throughout the year and sun during spring and summer time is a part of it! Tourism industry is well set and you will find all over the Balearic Islands accommodation of all ranges and prices. Traffic is fairly fluid and fast. One of the highlights of these temperate islands is undoubtedly their easy access! A few hours are enough to get there! (three hours). On Gymésies islands, you can also book a seaside resort or choose an hiking holiday program or other sports activities.
